Inline Hockey Club Galway
NUIG Inline Hockey Club is one of the newest sports clubs in NUI Galway. It was established in late 2008 due to the success of the other inline hockey club in the city, Galway Bay Lightning.We play every Friday evening from 7pm-9pm in the University Sports Complex. Newcomers are always welcome! You don’t even have to know how to skate (we can teach you).We bought equipment (helmets, sticks, and gloves) with an equipment grant we were given by the college’s sporting body. Anybody who wants to play only needs to bring their rollerblades with them!
