The Treasure Chest was established in 1966 by Mary Bennett. The Business expanded in 1986 we moved to a larger premises on William Street in Galway's main shopping street. It is undoubtedly the most stylish addition to the Heart of Galway. The former Glynn's store has been extensively refurbished both inside and out in the most tasteful fashion and boasts the finest of China, Crystal and Ladies Fashions in Galway.
The Bennett Family have taken every care to ensure that not only are the products best quality to be found but also presented in a way which shows them to there best.
The Ground floor hosts a selection of China, Crystal, Pottery, Figurines, Linen and Irish Products.
The First floor hosts a selection of International Designer Labels from Apanage, Basler, Betty Barcley, Joseph Ribkoff, Jobis, Frank Usher and many more.

We are a family business with two shops in Galway City, Ireland. For the last 12 years we have sold Irish goods and souvenirs in this lovely part of Ireland. We have met people from all corners of the globe and hopefully enhanced their stay in our country.

Wooden Heart
In 1979, Barbara and Nanke Ulrichs moved to the west of Ireland from Berlin to settle down with their family. A year later, together with their business partner Jürgen Faulstich they opened a wooden toyshop in the center of Loughrea and a wholesale business, Wooden Heart Toys Ltd.
They imported, distributed and sold German wooden toys and gifts in Ireland. At the time there was no real demand for wooden toys in Irish households and so Wooden Heart pioneered the market. As the first a supplier and wholesale distributor of wooden toys and gifts nationwide, Wooden Heart defined the wooden toy market in Ireland.
