Galway Atlantaquaria, National Aquarium

Galway Atlantaquaria, National Aquarium of Ireland is Irelands largest aquarium and one of the West of Irelands premier attractions.

Students will learn about the wonderful array of animals that live on our planet, they will discover what makes them special, how they have evolved and how they survive from day to day.
At this one day workshop students can carry out hands on experiments, use our digital microscopes, visit the aquarium to carry out a range of activities throughout the day and take part in a squid dissection if desired.
Each Student is awarded a certificate of completion and a bag of educational materials at the end of the workshop.

Irelands School of Falconry

Irelands School of Falconry gives you the chance to fly a hawk around the grounds of Ashford Castle in a one hour private Hawk Walk. You will never forget the moment when your hawk first swoops down from a tree and lands back on your gloved fist. Flying a hawk is an experience of a lifetime.

Your instructor will introduce you to your hawk and, within minutes of arriving, you will be setting off around Ashford Castle woodlands to fly your hawk free.

Killary Adventure

We specialise in exciting outdoor activities, for beginners and experts from ages 8 to 80. With superb accommodation the purpose-built K2 Centre, there is room for everyones budget and taste.

Athenry Castle

The great three-storey tower, surrounded by defensive walls, is entered at first-floor level through an unusual decorated doorway. Recently re-roofed, the interior contains an audio visual room and exhibition. Access to ground floor of Castle for people with disabilities.

Athenry is one of the most notable medieval walled towns surviving in Ireland, owing its foundation to Meiler de Bermingham who built his Castle there c.1250.

Clonboo Riding School

Clonboo Riding School, established in 1984, is only 15 minutes drive from Galway City, but in the heart of Corrib Country.

All standards of riders, both beginners and advanced, are very welcome. Height and weight restrictions apply. We offer tuition in our outdoor or indoor school, suitable for novice or nervous riders.

Connemara Trail

Corrib Cruises

Kylemore Abbey

Kylemore Abbey is the Monastic home of the Benedictine Order of Nuns in Ireland. A visit to Ireland, and especially to the West of Ireland and Connemara is not complete without experiencing the beauty and tranquility that is Kylemore Abbey & Garden.
